Robert, what were your highlights of 2016?
From a cricket point of view my highlight was taking a particularly difficult catch for Cheshire Over 60s in Birmingham only to be sledged by the crowd(Brucie and Scraggy). However the birth of my first grandchild, Sophia, was the highlight of my year

Who do you think will be looking back on 2016 and say "that was a good year"?
Richie Simcox, the club is still in the black!

Who are you expecting big things of in 2017?
The youngsters in the fourth team. It's about time Scraggy, Brucie, Akhtar and the Pope converted their undoubted raw talent into solid performances!

What are your hopes for 2017 both on and off the field?
The promotion of the mighty Walsall FC and to stop chasing those balls outside my off stump. The current Mrs Chapman has just advised me that hell would freeze over before either of these happen and she is being optimistic.

What's your top tip for 2017?
Carpe diem.
