Tricia Bruce is on the lookout for volunteers to help out with a charity she is involved with – Beanstalk, who train volunteers to become reading helpers in schools and early years settings.

On Monday June 25th the Merseyside team is holding a Volunteer Recruitment morning in the children's library within Liverpool Central Library from 10:30 am - 12:00 noon for people wanting to find out more about volunteering as a Beanstalk reading helper. We are in need of volunteers for September both for Story Starters and our core programme for 5-11 year olds throughout Merseyside.
