That’s right, there’s just 18 days until the first of our fantastic ‘marquee’ events when we open the doors to the 2022 Comedy Night, followed by the Summer Ball the next night!

Now that I’ve built up a little bit excitement, here’s the reality…

We haven’t sold enough tickets and we need YOUR help please. If you are planning on coming along to either event, please can you confirm by midnight this Thursday (23rd June).

Why do we need to know by Thursday? To put it simply, we’ll be having to decide on Friday as to whether the events go ahead, as currently we haven’t sold enough tickets to make it financially viable. That’s not us being greedy trying to make loads of money, the simple fact is that as it stands, the club stands to make a loss on the events (and that includes the projected bar revenue as well). Clearly not a position we want to be in.

I urge you wherever you can to support these events as they really will be great nights where you can get together with fellow members, family and friends.
