What is your role on the Governing Committee/Playing field Cricket Chairman and peddler of nonsense on the matchday Twitter feed
What does your role involve Helping to facilitate all things cricket in order to support our noble captains
How long have you been in this role Six months
As a member of the committee, what are your ambitions for 2022 That all sides play hard, positive cricket. Success on the field; excess in the UCC bar!
Do you have a memorial moment you could share since being a member of UCC. Feel free to tell if more than one International half century (Halkyn away) and nursing our overseas player at the time, George Earl, through a Sunday 1sts fifty partnership (Smith 0no)
What are your ambitions for yourself To savour all things UCC and contribute wherever possible!
Do you play or have you played any other sport/s and if so at what level Something of a gap between captaining football, table tennis and darts teams in university days to current racquetball humiliation.
What’s your most memorial moment from playing that other sport/s No….but I’d like to twist the question by reminding everyone once again of my dismissal of future England captain Mike Atherton in my school days. The full story takes a good couple of hours, but (or so I seem to recall) the telling over went outswinger, outswinger, bouncer, inswinger!
What are your other interests Easing myself into lycra for gym sessions, reading, walking and sharing cryptic crossword clues with the President!
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself that members may not know I was a victim of an attempted abduction within my first hour of landing in Nigeria….
