It is with deep regret I have to announce the passing of a true Upton great and legend Tony Perrin this afternoon (Monday 12th May).
Anyone who knew him had their lives enriched by his presence on and off the pitch, the world is a sadder place for his loss.
In a distinguished career with the Club, Tony played 646 games, took 1,046 wickets and scored 5,516 runs in total and served as both 1st XI Captain and Chairman.
Our sincerest condolences and thoughts go out to Tony’s family; Andrew, David & Felicity and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him at this extremely sad time
Pete Clark
Club President
