Here's all you need to know...

THE RACE NIGHT IS BACK

On Saturday 19th July we’re hosting a Race Night fundraiser where EVERYONE is invited.

Here’s everything you need to know…
Q: What time will the Race Night start?
A: 8pm, however we’d suggest you get in early to get a seat as the event will be very popular

Q: Do I need to buy a ticket?
A: No, the event is free, however if you are an Owner of one of the horses then you’ll have a reserved seat so you don’t have to worry about missing out!

Q: How many races will there be?
A: There will be 8 main races, plus a special final race which we will auctioned on the night

Q: How do I get involved?
A: There are a few ways to get involved; you can either just turn up on the night and place bets on the races, or you can become an Owner or Jockey of the horses involved in the races

Q: How much is it to become an Owner of a horse?
A: £10 for one horse, or £25 to own 3 horses

Q: Can I choose the name of the horse I Own?
A: You certainly can, but make sure it’s “family friendly”!

Q: How much is it to be a Jockey?
A: £5 for one race, £12 for 3 races or to be a Jockey in all 8 of the main races it’s £30

Q: Will there be prizes for the winning Owners and Jockeys
A: Yes! The winning Owner of each race will win a prize, plus the ‘Champion Jockey’ (the jockey with the most wins) will win a prize.

Q: What will the prizes be?
A: We are working on some really special prizes, but we do need some help. If you can help out with prizes either by donating yourself or have contacts who’d like to donate, then please get in touch (details below)

Q: Where do I sign up as either an Owner or Jockey?
A: Head over to our JustGiving page which can be found HERE

Q: Can I sponsor a race
A: Yes! It costs £100 (or a suitableprize donation) to sponsor a race and you get to call the race whatever you want (within reason!)

Q: Can I place a bet on each race?
A: Absolutely, this is where the real fun starts!! Please note, we will only accept CASH for any bets as this means we can pay out all winnings on the night.

Q: How will any profits raised from the Race Night be used by the Club
A: During the course of the season, the running costs of the club are extremely expensive, whether that be funding new kit, grounds work, building repairs or even replacing broken windows. The Race Night is a great way that everybody across the WHOLE club can help raise funds for the club and have fun at the same time.
