Upton Cricket Club is delighted to announce that it has secured a new 30-year lease agreement with Leverhulme Estates, ensuring the club's long-term future at its historic home on Old Greasby Road.

The agreement brings to a successful conclusion discussions that have been ongoing for several years and represents a significant milestone in the club's 125-year history. Having called Old Greasby Road home since 1901, the new lease provides security and certainty for generations of cricketers, volunteers and local families to come.

As one of the largest community sports clubs on the Wirral, Upton Cricket Club is home to more than 700 senior, junior and social members. The club plays a central role in the local community, providing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy cricket, develop friendships and take part in a thriving social calendar.

The new lease will allow the club to continue investing in its facilities, its cricket programme and its wider community offering, as it embarks on an exciting new chapter both on and off the field.
