Preview: Matt Owen’s 1st XI will be looking to bounce back from last weeks heavy defeat when they head to Davenham. With Matt Smith & Dave Williams both unavailable, Sam Talbot and Sophie Morris come in. Following relegation from Div.1 last season, Davenham have lost all three of their games so far this season despite amassing some respectable totals with Sam Hunt (123 runs) leading he way with the bat.

2nd XI v GRAPPENHALL (H)

Preview: With regular skipper Sam Talbot promoted to the 1’s, Graeme Keenan leads the 2’s as they welcome Grappenhall to Old Greasby Road looking to put on an improved performance following last weeks loss at Romiley. Ian Potter returns to bolster the batting line up and there’s an athletic look to the side with the addition of Charlie Ward and Matt Morris. Last week, Grappenhall posted a healthy 240-4 but couldn’t break through the resolute Macclesfield tail who closed on 140-7 after 50 overs.

3rd XI v Lymm Oughtrington Park (a)

Preview: Ian Sharrock returns to skipper the 3‘s looking to make amends for last weeks heavy defeat at the hands of Haslington. With the experience and guile of opening batsmen Rob Chapman bolstering the batting line up, plus Martin Oliver occupying a useful all-rounder spot the side has a nice balance to it. Lymm Oughtrington Park go into the game having been beaten by 7 wickets last week after registering a win and a draw in their opening two fixtures.

Preview: Building on last weeks victory over Ormskirk Occasionals, Phil Wood’s Sunday 1st X makeup varies slightly with the addition of Philippa Dagger, Lachlan Ford, Dave Potter and Sean Lynch.
