Preview: After the frustrations of last weeks rain affected game at Hale Barns, Matt Owen’s 1st XI will be eager to get back into action as they welcome Hawk Green to Old Greasby Road. In the game last week, Upton set what is believed to be the highest ever 1st XI score recorded when they posted a whopping 343-6. The skipper makes one change to the XI with Joe Green coming in for Will Colwell. The visitors come into the game having registered five victories from their last eight games (two abandoned/cancelled) and a loss against Barrow who they set 216 to win and lost with five balls to spare.

With a glut of players returning this week, the skipper is able to bring in Will Clayton, Sophie Morris & Sol Turner. The hosts will be looking to get back to the form they showed in their last victory in mid-June when they beat Congleton by seven wickets.
