Preview: Two of the three unbeaten teams in Division 2 go head-to-head on Saturday at Frodsham Road in this top of the table clash. Skipper Matt Owen, fresh from his unbeaten century last week, names an unchanged XI for the third consecutive week. The hosts come into the game having defeated Cheadle Hulme by three wickets & Stockport by seven wickets in their opening two games so will be brimming with confidence.

Preview: Making the trip the opposite direction, ALvanley 2s are the visitors to Old Greasby Road. Rich Battersby is able to call upon Will Colwell & Sol Turner to add further strength to the side who narrowly missed out last week at Heaton Mersey. The visitors have had an inauspicious start to their campaign, losing their opening two games having been bowled out relatively cheaply in each game (121 & 116). This is however only week 3 of what we know will be a long season, so plenty of time for things to change.

Preview: Luke Williams’ 3s are on the road again, this time heading to Romiley looking to build on last weeks victory over Oakmere. The skipper makes four changes with Callum McCormick, Andy Beacher, Charlie Ward and Nathan Jones all coming in. The hosts have started the season with a high scoring opening day defeat to Oakmere and then victory at Ashtron-on-Mersey last week. In both games scoring over 200.

Preview: Phil Wood’s 4th XI have a local derby as they welcome Oxton to Old Greasby Road. The skipper rings the changes from the triumphany XI last week over Old Parks with no less than five changes. Rob Chapman, Ian Bruce, Nick Cockrell, Gavin Byrom & Jack Presswell all feature. The visitors have lost both of their opening two games against Mere Europa and Maritime so will be looking to kick start their season.
