1st XI vs DAVENHAM (H)
Date/Time: Sat 15th July | 12:00pm start
Preview: It's first versus third at the UCG this weekend as league leaders Upton welcome Davenham in what promises to be one of the standout fixtures of the weekend. Tom Marsland’s side have been in outstanding form, winning seven matches on the bounce to establish themselves at the summit of Division One, and another victory on home soil would further strengthen their position in the title race. Sol Turner returns to the side, adding extra pace to an already formidable bowling attack, while Davenham arrive just eight points behind knowing a win would close the gap at the top. With two of the division's strongest sides going head-to-head, this is one not to be missed.

Previous Meeting: 25 April 2026: Upton produced a superb all-round display after electing to field, restricting Davenham to 193 before chasing the target with four wickets in hand and six overs to spare. Phil McGowan and Alex Townend both claimed four wickets, while Luke Camden was left agonisingly unbeaten on 99.

2nd XI vs NANTWICH (A)
Date/Time: Sat 15th July | 12:00pm start
Preview: The 2nd XI make the trip to Nantwich looking to build on recent performances and complete the league double over their hosts. George Williams and Nikhil Nataraj both return to the side, adding extra depth to the batting line-up as Rich Battersby's men continue their push up the Premier Division table. Although Nantwich currently hold the advantage in the standings, Upton will take plenty of confidence from their convincing victory in the reverse fixture and will be hoping another disciplined all-round display can bring home another valuable 20 points.

3rd XI vs OAKMERE 2nd XI (H)

Preview: One of the club's most exciting young prospects takes centre stage this weekend as Sam Cliff earns a well-deserved promotion to the 3rd XI. Fresh from an unbeaten century for the Cheshire Cricket Board Under-13s against Cumbria, Sam steps up after impressing in the 4th XI and now gets the opportunity to test himself at the next level of senior cricket. Luke Williams' side currently occupy third place and know another victory will keep them firmly in the promotion conversation, while Oakmere arrive looking to narrow the gap between the two sides. It's another proud moment for Upton's player pathway and hopefully the next step in what promises to be a bright future.

Previous Meeting: 25 April 2026: After Oakmere's opening pair shared a 96-run partnership, Upton's bowlers fought back brilliantly to dismiss them for 153, with Luke Williams claiming 4-41. Upton then cruised to victory with six wickets in hand and 19 overs remaining, led by an unbeaten 74 from Nikhil Nataraj.

4th XI vs BUNBURY 2nd XI (A)
Date/Time: Sat 15th July | 1:00pm start
Preview: The promotion race in Division C West continues to gather pace as the 4th XI travel to Bunbury knowing every point could prove crucial. Just 12 points separate the top three sides, leaving very little margin for error as the season enters its final stretch. Alongside another important league fixture, it will also be a memorable afternoon for youngsters Ameer Awal and Josh Morris, who are both set to make their senior league debuts. It's another exciting milestone for Upton's thriving junior section and another chance to see the club's next generation begin their senior journey.

Previous Meeting: 25 April 2026: Half-centuries from Phil Wood (50) and Jonathan Cockrell (55) helped Upton post 183/8 before Alexandra Harrison starred with the ball, returning 4-31 as Bunbury were bowled out for 129.

Sunday XI vs NEWSHAM PARK (H)
Date/Time: Sun 16th July | 1:30pm start
Preview: The Sunday XI return to action this weekend looking to bounce back after last week's thrilling tie, a contest that many around the club have already labelled one of the games of the season. Phil Wood again leads a youthful side as they welcome Newsham Park to the UCG, with plenty of exciting talent on show. Having already overcome this opposition last season, Upton will be hoping another strong all-round performance can turn last week's near miss into a return to winning ways.
Previous Meeting: 22 June 2025: Upton produced another excellent all-round display, restricting Newsham Park to 191 with Luke Williams taking 2-7 before comfortably chasing the target with more than nine overs to spare, thanks largely to Luke's unbeaten 53 before retiring hurt.

T20 Plate Quarter Final
1st XI vs WARRINGTON (H)

Date/Time: Sun 16th July
Preview: There's no rest for the 1st XI this weekend as attention quickly turns to Sunday's T20 Plate Quarter Final against Warrington. Nathan Brown names another strong-looking squad as Upton aim to continue their excellent run of form and book a place in the semi-finals. With home advantage, a place in the last four at stake and plenty of quality on show, it promises to be another cracking afternoon of cricket at the UCG.
