Upton Ladies played a close and exciting game against Northop. Northop scored 184 runs, and Upton replied with 143. This was only the second loss of the season, and the team is still top of the league.

The innings began well with a 40-run opening partnership between Lily and Praba. Lily did the highest with 35 runs, while Charlie and Alexa made 30 and 18. Ava, S Fletcher, and Ellie also made good contributions, helping to keep the scoreboard moving.

In this match, the team missed three key players, and we’re very thankful to the three players from Old Parkonians Club who joined us and gave their best.

Ava and Charlie both took important wickets, helping to keep the pressure on Northop. The fielding effort from the whole team was also strong, with great energy shown throughout.

There is always room to improve, but overall, it was a good team performance. Upton Ladies are ready to bounce back even stronger!
