Appearances, runs, wickets, catches, stumpings & partnerships...
Next up in our series of looking at the updated Club stats, we move on to focus on individual teams and take a look at the 4th XI records for league games
Looking at who’s played the most games….
- Rob Chapman (386) is streaks ahead at the top of the leaderboard, and of the current crop of players, Phil Wood (121) is c.12 seasons away from catching him when he hangs up his whites
Moving onto the leading run scorers….
- Once again, it’s Rob Chapman (9,587)is way out in front as the leading run scorer and will no doubt be looking to breach the 10,000 run mark with a good season behind him.
- Dave Charles (2,887) & Phil Wood (2,845) will be battling it out to see who finishes the season in 3rd place overall.
Moving onto the bowlers….
- John Scragg (487) sits comfortably at the top of the leaderboard, with Phil Wood (144) back in 6th place of the current players.
- Further down the table, Charlie Ward (90) Matt Marsden (79) & Dan Rivett (58) will be looking to make advances up the leaderboard
Looking at the safest hands in the 4’s[list]- Ian Bruce (129) leads the way from Rob Chapman (125)
- Further down the leaderboard, a good season behind the stumps should see Joe Collister (40) break into the top 10
On to the keepers…
- Rob Chapman (40) has the most stumpings, with current keeper Joe Collister (15) back in 4th place and will be looking to overtake Ian Bruce (18) into 3rd place.
On to the batting partnerships…
- No records were broken, but certainly some on memories for players of the past to look back as they recall their feats (none least the Chairman who features in the club records for the first time!)
