Reggie played for Upton across the 1950s until the 1990s and occupied many roles at the club but most notably the 1st XI captain across three separate occasions (69-70, 75; 80-82) and Chairman of the club between 1990 – 1992. During his playing career he amounted over 640 appearances, scoring 5516 runs, taking 1046 wickets and 208 catches, making him one of the club’s great all-round players. Reggie was one of the true legends of UCC and stories of him both on and off the pitch will told and re-told for many years to come. After his Sad passing in May 2025, his legacy at the club was honoured when his ashes were scattered on the club’s grounds.
