Gerry played for the club across 1993-2005 for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and Sundays XIs. Gerry was also a coach at the club and took a junior side from the under 9s right up to the under 15s. His coaching influence helped bring players like Charlie Ward Jr and his Son Alex through, both of whom went on to play 1st XI cricket for the club.
